Top Honors:

1990 Honor Award, American Institute of Architects. The Pavilion is the only structure in Mississippi ever to receive this award.
1991 Honor Award, American Society of Landscape Architects. This too is the highest national award given in its field and is the only one ever to be received in Mississippi.


Structural Architecture:
Pinecote Pavilion was designed by the American Institute of Architects Gold Medal winner, Fay Jones of Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Landscape Architecture:
The Crosby Arboretum was designed by the American Society of Landscape Architects Honor Award winner Edward L. Blake, Jr., of Hattiesburg, Mississppi for his Master Plan and Landscape Design.
