Self-guided tours are available at your convenience Wednesday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Take a leisurely stroll where you can learn about our native flora and fauna by reading the trail signs. Please call if you plan to bring a large group for a self-guided tour.

Staff-guided tours are also available by reservation Wednesday through Sunday between the hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please reserve your guided tour at least 2 weeks prior to your visit. Reservations are taken on a first come basis and are booked only by telephone. A maximum of 75 people and a minimum of 5 are required. If you need to cancel or reschedule a guided tour, please give us as much notice as possible.

Reservations are required for both self guided and staff guided tours for schools. The requirements outlined above apply to school groups. Please have the following ready when placing your reservation:

Preferred date and time
Class size and grade
Name of school
Contact name, address, and phone number
Activity request (limited to small class sizes)
Special needs of any students

Large classes will be divided into smaller groups during general guided tours. At least 1 adult is needed for every 6 students to assist the Arboretum staff. Teachers are responsible for supervising students while at the Arboretum.

Schools K-12, Scouts, Children's Clubs, and Other Child-Related Organizations

Self-guided tour	$1 per child under the age of 12, $2 per child over the age of 12, and no admission fee for teachers and chaperones
Staff-guided tour	$2 per child under the age of 12, $4 per child over the age of 12, and no admission fee for teachers and chaperones

All tours	$5 per student
Mississippi State University	$4 per student
