The Living off the Land Foraging Series: Useful Wild Edibles for Your Home Garden

Saturday, March 2, 1:00 to 2:30 p.m.

How do you plan for adding more wild edibles to your property and in your garden? Sandi Wicklund, Interpretive Refuge Volunteer for the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service for 14 years, will cover some favorite wild edibles, where to locate them, and discuss the topic of some edible but potentially invasive species. Learn how to harvest wild foods from your landscape and still maintain your property’s aesthetic appeal, as well as becoming aware of the many benefits of using a “living” compost to your beds. Registration is required.  Cost for members is $10, and $15 for non-members.
