“Healing on Home Ground” with Corinne Martin

Join Corinne Martin, author of The Louisiana Herb Journal, for an outstanding program on local medicinal plants and an overview of the natural heritage of the land around us. Corinne will discuss why medicinal plants matter, present cautions, and cover how you can get started harvesting, preparing, storing, and using herbs, and provide demonstrations on teas, tinctures, salves, syrups, and poultices. Cost for members $10, non-members $15. limited to 35 persons
